Sobre esta carrera
El Monarch Grind (US) se hace por pistas de gravel del U. S. Forest Service y tiene unos 7,900 feet de desnivel acumulado. Lo que se recauda va para los Pend O'reille Pedalers y KRFY - Panhandle Community Radio. Es la segunda edición. Recomiendan cubiertas con buen agarre; las bicis de carretera, ni de broma.
Después de una salida neutralizada, cada uno puede ir a su ritmo, pero ojo con los tiempos de corte en los avituallamientos. Los que acaben se llevan swag, una comida al terminar y un número para un sorteo.
