Monster Miles Challenge es un reto virtual de kilometraje que dura todo el mes. Aunque nace en Greensboro, North Carolina, puedes sumar miles desde cualquier punto de USA. Durante October, runners y walkers van registrando todos los miles que puedan en su portal individual. Caminar, trotar y correr cuenta todo para el total.
No hay recorrido fijo; cada uno hace sus miles solo o con un amigo donde entrene normalmente. Hay premios para los tres primeros participantes en categoría femenina, masculina y no binaria. La primera edición también incluye una pizza party al terminar el reto y una donación del 20 percent de lo recaudado a una charity todavía por elegir.
