Worthy 5k

The Worthy 5K is a community fundraiser road race in Bossier City, Louisiana. It includes a 5K for runners and walkers, and a half-mile fun run for children 10 and under. The kids' run is untimed, functioning as a short family activity rather than a competitive event. The race supports Trail Life USA troop LA-2206, with funds directed to troop service projects and equipment. This marks the sixth year for the event. Medals are awarded to the first and second place male and female finishers in the 5K, covering age groups from 14 and under to 60 and over.
