16. Wald-und-Wiesen-Lauf (WienLäuft-Cup) 2026

The Wald-und-Wiesen-Lauf is a Vienna running event in the WienLäuft-Cup, held at Jesuitenwiese in the Prater area, near Rustenschacherallee. The day features 5 km and 10 km main races, a 5 km Nordic Walking event, a 1 km barefoot run, and a 1 km children’s race. The start, finish, and festival area are located by the sledding hill on Jesuitenwiese, accessible by tram line 1 and bus 80A. The main loop is a flat 5,000-meter circuit on natural paths with minimal asphalt, winding past Jesuitenwiese, Konstantinhügel, the “Lagune” pond, and Hauptallee. The children’s and barefoot routes utilize a shorter grass loop, aligning with the event’s name more than a road-race format. The 5 km race includes a three-person team competition, allowing clubs and friends to compete together. Awards are presented in two ceremonies, reflecting the schedule of shorter races followed by the main races.
