2B Schöckl Halterhütte Rucksacklauf

You run uphill with the legendary 2B backpack on your back at the 2B Schöckl Halterhütte Rucksacklauf. It starts in Sankt Radegund bei Graz in late October, around Austria’s National Day, and it is a short mountain race rather than a normal road run: the listed distance is 2 km, but the route climbs about 660 meters. The finish is at the Halterhütte, so the day is basically a hard push up the Schöckl area instead of a flat speed test. Runners and hikers both participate, with helpers, spectators, sponsors, and supporters giving the event its local feel.
