Bergkaiser is a short, challenging mountain race from Kematen, near Innsbruck, ascending to Kühtai, with a finish line situated above 2,000 meters. The course spans approximately 25 kilometers and involves a climb of about 1,400 meters, emphasizing consistent uphill effort over distance.
The route crosses Kematen, Sellrain, Gries im Sellrain, St. Sigmund, and Haggen before concluding in Kühtai. Aid stations are located at the finish area. A baggage transfer service departs shortly before the start, and the awards ceremony takes place high in the mountains, above 2,000 meters.
