Gaisberg Vertical 2026

The Gaisberg Vertical is an 8.5 km mountain time trial on the Gaisberg, starting in Guggenthal, Austria, in the Salzburg area. Riders race the climb individually against the clock, with 641 meters of elevation gain packed into a short course. The event revives the old Gaisberg race in a new format after a Tour of Austria mountain finish brought the climb back into focus. It is also part of the Road Cycling League Austria, so it is built for serious road racers as well as riders drawn to a direct uphill test.
