Int. Thiersee Triathlon 2026

The Int. Thiersee Triathlon begins at Strandbad Thiersee in Vorderthiersee, situated next to Lake Thiersee in the Tyrolean mountains. It takes place annually in August and includes multiple race distances: sprint, short-course, Olympic-distance, Everyman, junior, and children’s races, catering to various triathletes. The swim occurs in Lake Thiersee, known for its clear water and good quality. The cycling portion crosses the nearby hills, and the run is a flat course consisting of 2.5 km laps on surfaces of gravel, asphalt, and packed meadow. Tri & Run Thiersee is the organizer, with relay options available for corporate teams, clubs, families, and sprint teams (men’s, women’s, and mixed).
