Mayrhofen Ultraks Zillertal 2026

Mayrhofen Ultraks Zillertal is a trail running event held in Mayrhofen, Austria’s Zillertal region, during early September. The main event is the Z101, a 101-plus-kilometer mountain race covering 7,600 meters of elevation change. For a shorter challenge, the RK50 offers a 51.8-kilometer course with 3,270 meters of climbing. The Z101 route follows high trails through the Zillertal Alps, passing historic mountain huts. The highest point reaches Schönbichler Horn at 3,123 meters, marking it as true alpine trail running. The Z101 awards 5 ITRA points and 5 UTMB points. The RK50 has seen several hundred finishers, with German elite runner Hannes Namberger winning it in just over five hours.
