Ötscher Trail (IÖBLC, Österr. Volkslaufcup)

The Ötscher Trail is a three-day mountain and trail-running event held in Lackenhof, Lower Austria. The Ötscher Trail Arena, located at the Eibenkogel cable-car valley station, serves as the event hub. This race is an ultra-style weekend focused on off-road running within the Ötscherland region, distinct from city or road races. The routes traverse natural paths through the Ötscherland nature parks, an area highlighted by the organizer as a premier natural setting in Central Europe. The event combines mountain running, trail running, and landscape running, with the terrain and parkland setting offering as much appeal as the distances themselves.
