The Waldquelle-Lauf Kobersdorf begins and ends at the Gemeindeamt in Kobersdorf, located in Burgenland’s Oberpullendorf district. This autumn road race is organized by LAC Unlimited Kobersdorf, featuring a 10 km run on an AIMS-measured, all-asphalt course, alongside other events for children and walkers.
The course follows a modern all-asphalt design and is managed by the Freiwillige Feuerwehr Kobersdorf. Approximately 250 runners participate annually, and the event also serves as the venue for the Burgenland state championships in 10 km road running. Awards are presented to the top 3 finishers in each age category, while children and walkers receive medals. The award ceremony commences at 5:00 PM, with prizes distributed only to those in attendance. Daniel Wildzeiss heads the organizing club, and Sportlandesrat Heinrich Dorner has previously attended the ceremony.
