Blackall 100 2026

The Sunshine Coast Hinterland Great Walk forms the basis for the Blackall 100, with the route winding through "forests, gullies and ridge lines with varied views." It offers a genuine hinterland trail outing, distinct from a conventional road race, operating from QCCC Mapleton which serves as the central point for both starts and finishes. The event carries significant standing, as it is a "qualifying race for the Western States Endurance Run." This course requires participants to be self-sufficient and attentive, rather than simply attaching a bib and proceeding. Mandatory equipment includes a "mobile phone with emergency contact numbers," a "course map (recommended via Maps.Me KML)," adequate water supply, and a compression bandage.
