BRAC Dash and Splash Series 2026

Join the BRAC Dash & Splash Series at the Broome Recreation & Aquatic Centre on November 27, 2026. This duathlon event features a short course with a 2 km run and a 200 m swim, and a long course with a 4 km run and a 400 m swim. A 20 km virtual beach swim is also available. The event is suitable for beginners, families, and duathlon enthusiasts. The duathlon takes place entirely within the Broome Recreation & Aquatic Centre. The short course includes a 2 km flat, paved run around the centre's perimeter followed by a 200 m swim in the indoor pool. The long course consists of a 4 km run and a 400 m swim. Both courses are clearly marked for easy pacing. The Beach 2 Bay Virtual Swim requires participants to complete a 20 km distance in the pool, simulating a swim from Cable Beach around Gantheaume Point to Town Beach, allowing focus on technique without open water challenges. Duo options for adults and juniors are also offered to promote teamwork.
