Burleigh Swim Run Australia Day Challenge 2027

The 16th Annual Burleigh Swim Run Australia Day Challenge will be held on January 26, 2027, at Burleigh Beach, Queensland, Australia. This community fitness event is open to participants aged 5 to 60+. It features three race options that combine ocean swims (or wades for younger participants) and beach runs, with distances suitable for various abilities. The available races are: 'The Challenge' (400m swim, 4km run) for ages 9 and up (available as solo or team relay), 'The Taste Tester' (200m swim, 2km run) for ages 9 and up, and 'The Young Guns' (400m wade, 400m run) for ages 5 to 12. The event is designed to foster community spirit in a safe, supportive, and energetic atmosphere.
