2026 Dubbo to Hunter Valley Zoo2Zoo

The Zoo2Zoo, starting at Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo, concludes at Hunter Valley Zoo following three days of road cycling. Participants will cycle 160 km from Dubbo to Mudgee on the first day, 146 km from Mudgee to Denman on the second, and 105 km from Denman to the zoo on the final day. This is a Friday-to-Sunday charity ride for adults, including shared accommodation for the first two nights and meals as part of the entry package for the entire weekend. The route proceeds through Geurie and Goolma before arriving in Mudgee, then continues through rural towns to Denman and the Hunter Valley. Riders are required to wear an official Zoo2Zoo cycling shirt. Each group of 20 riders is accompanied by a support vehicle, with a Sag Wagon remaining with the final riders to ensure everyone finishes safely. The ride generates funds and awareness for the Black Dog Institute, and participants are encouraged to fundraise through various activities such as trivia nights, BBQs, and morning teas. Individuals with disabilities are welcome, and the event provides food, snacks, and drinks throughout the three days.
