Wild Women Adventure Race 2026

Noosa Main Beach and the Sunshine Coast Hinterland define this race: beach edge, hinterland trails, wet gear, bikes, and a teammate beside you. Wild Women Adventure Race is Australia’s first and original all-female adventure race, started in 2012, and it still has that practical, slightly scrappy feel of women heading out of the gym/office/house and into the wild. Expect a mixed-discipline day rather than a standard road event: mountain biking, trail running or trekking, kayaking or paddling, and basic navigation, with legs that may repeat and keep you thinking. It is run in teams of two, so the participants are women who are up for “a willingness to try something a little different,” not just chasing splits. Paddle equipment is provided, which removes one logistical item before you head out on the trails in the Sunshine Coast.
