EnergyVision Dwars Door Hasselt is a city running event held in Hasselt, Limburg, offering race distances from a 1 km kids run to a 21.0975 km half marathon. It is known locally as Limburg’s coziest city run, yet it is also a significant event, with almost 14,000 runners participating in a recent edition, ranking it as the third largest running event in Flanders. The event features 3 km, 5 km, 10 km, 15 km, the half marathon, the Persil Kids Run, and a handbike race. The half marathon is officially measured and World Athletics-certified, attracting approximately 3,000 runners since its introduction. The children’s run is untimed, while the 3 km through half marathon races utilize chips to record net time from start to finish.
