GR Provincie Trail Antwerpen 2026

The GR Provincie Trail Antwerpen is a trail run held in October in Kruibeke, within the Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht area of East Flanders, Belgium. It utilizes a section of a GR long-distance walking path and provides two distances: a marathon and a half marathon. With a field limited to 40 participants, this event emphasizes navigation and a more intimate setting over a large-scale competition. The course is marked according to GR standards, with a GPX file provided the week prior as a supplementary guide. Aid stations are cup-free and located approximately every 10 km, requiring participants to carry their own hydration vessels. Electronic timing is employed. Marathon finishers receive a medal, and half marathon participants have the option to receive one. For those without a device to load the GPX, GPS watch rentals are available. The event also includes unique elements such as a WUK beer package and a natural prize for specific runners who collect Belgium puzzle pieces.
