Haaltert Loopt

Haaltert Loopt is a running event held at Het Vondelhof on Vondelen 14 in Haaltert, East Flanders. It features both road races and the Vondelhof Trail. The road races use 4-kilometre laps for adults, offering 4 km, 8 km, and 12 km distances. Children compete in shorter races on a 400-metre lap. The trail portion includes longer off-road options, with routes of approximately 12 km, 19 km, 25 km, and 33 km through the surrounding countryside. The event caters to various participants, including recreational joggers, experienced trail runners, families, walkers, and younger athletes. The start area is traffic-free, and all participants receive electronic timing from Maspoe. The race maintains a local-club atmosphere, awarding a nature prize to each finisher. Podiums are available for men and women across all distances, along with a distinct under-18 category for the 4 km race.
