About this race
The Thracian Ultra 50 starts and finishes in Shiroka Laka, challenging runners across a significant portion of Rhodope terrain. This event is part of a larger trail weekend, alongside the DECATHLON Discovery Race 12, DECATHLON Gela Run 20, and DECATHLON Yagodina Cave Ultra 95, creating a festival atmosphere for mountain running.
Expect no asphalt relief on this course, which features 30% paths and 70% tracks, with zero roads. There is sufficient climbing to keep you honest from the first kilometers, as the surface alternates between narrower trails and wider tracks. The finish back in Shiroka Laka is one earned with patience, not by early showing off.
