About this race
A cycling journey begins on the Danube's banks, exploring the distinct character of Romanian Dobrudzha, extending beyond the historical San Stefano Dobrudzha line. This route is for individuals desiring an open landscape and a lengthy day under a strong sun with minimal shade, presenting a different challenge than an urban cycling tour.
The course starts near the Danube's "cherry" waters, proceeding through arid, rocky valleys before climbing to the hills of Adamclisi. It then opens to vistas marked by vineyards. This dry, sunlit Dobrudzha, where water, stone, and vineyards shape the ride's pace, will attract participants who accept heat and limited shade as integral to the challenge.
