CORRIDA DA INDEPENDÊNCIA 5K

The Corrida da Independência 5K is a community road race held in Sairé. Although named a 5K, the course is actually 8 km. The race begins at 7:00 AM and concludes around 9:00 AM, welcoming local residents and visitors seeking a brief, structured run with a social atmosphere. The event includes hydration stations along the route and breakfast post-race. All participants receive custom metal medals. The first 300 registered runners will also get the official race shirt at no cost. Prizes extend beyond the top finishers; separate awards are given for local and visiting male and female runners. The top five overall in each category earn cash prizes, trophies, and medals. Age groups range from 13-17 up to 40-49.
