About this race
The Argus Apple Marathon begins and ends in Kelowna’s City Park, placing the race in the Okanagan. It takes place annually in October and includes a certified marathon, a half marathon, an 8K, and a 1.6K kids’ fun run. The marathon is certified by Athletics Canada and functions as a Boston qualifier, attracting runners aiming for a standard and those trying the distance for the first time.
The route follows lakeside trails and city streets. The half marathon is a single loop covering half of the marathon course. Aid stations offer water and electrolytes, and the event provides course medical support and traffic management. Participants receive a swag bag with an event shirt and local sponsor items, all distances earn a custom finisher medal, and post-race food is provided.
