About this race
The Nanaimo BMX Canada Cup is a BMX race weekend held in Nanaimo, British Columbia. It is organized by Nanaimo BMX and is part of Cycling Canada’s Canada Cup series. This event serves as rounds #10 and #11, late in the series. Its classification includes UCI C1 and Canada Cup national-event status.
The racing format is BMX: short, explosive heats on a purpose-built track, distinct from long road or trail courses. Cycling BC is associated with the event, which also falls within the BMX Canada Partnership. Consequently, the weekend attracts riders competing for national-series points alongside racers from the provincial BMX scene.
