Lake Züri 100 Endurance Run

Friday, March 26, 2027 · Zürich, Switzerland

Distances

106km

About this race

Lake Züri 100 is a 106 km trail run starting and finishing at Albisguetli in Zurich. Held in late March, it crosses the hill chains surrounding Lake Zurich, accumulating approximately 3,200 meters of elevation gain. The field is limited to about 180 runners, making it a focused ultra rather than a large-scale event. The race emphasizes self-reliance, with an unmarked route navigated solely using the official GPX track. The course utilizes public paths and roads, requiring participants to adhere to traffic regulations. Five aid stations are provided, but runners must carry their own drinking containers as disposable cups are not available. Drop bags are permitted, and pacers can join from the Boulderhalle aid station, with one pacer allowed per runner at any given time. The recommended equipment list reflects potential March conditions: a charged phone, headlamp, survival blanket, elastic bandage, waterproof jacket, long pants, hat, gloves, and spare power for lighting. Trekking poles are permitted. The event serves as a Western States Lottery qualifier and a UTMB Index race.
