LG Trail

The LG Trail is a trail running event in Switzerland, starting in Lausanne and heading toward Geneva in the Canton of Vaud. It is typically held in early November. Participants can select from 13 km, 23 km, or 40 km courses, each featuring significant elevation gain: approximately 600 m for the 13 km, 1000 m for the 23 km, and 1600 m for the 40 km. The course combines urban peripheries with forest trails, lakeside paths, natural landscapes, and mountain terrain, extending beyond a simple run beside Lake Geneva. The event also includes races for children and juniors, broadening the day's activities beyond the three adult trail distances. The core concept is to utilize the Lausanne-Geneva corridor to engage runners of various abilities with the regional environment and history.
