OnkoLauf 2025 2026

OnkoLAUF starts at the Lützelmurg school in Bichelsee-Balterswil, a village in Switzerland’s Thurgau canton, and offers three routes rather than one strict race format. The event is organized by Krebsliga Thurgau together with Tumorzentrum Thurgau, and its focus is solidarity with people affected by cancer in Thurgau. Around 220 people joined the fourth edition, including 20 children, which set a new participation record. The motto is simple: run, walk, stroll, and come with a stroller or a dog if that is how you want to join. The CHF 20 entry fee goes fully to Krebsliga Thurgau, raising money for cancer patients in the canton. The field ranges from toddlers to people in their late eighties, with patients, relatives, RunFit Thurgau, local Samaritan volunteers, Spital Thurgau staff, general practitioners, orienteering runners, walkers, and local politician Urs Martin all part of the crowd.
