Semi-marathon des Côtes de l'Orbe 2026

The Semi-marathon des Côtes de l'Orbe is a race set in the wine region of Orbe, located in the Jura-Nord Vaudois area of Switzerland's canton of Vaud, near the French border. Typically held in early September, it features a half marathon, an 11 km road race, and an 11 km walk, catering to participants of all paces. This event, now in its 15th year, has a distinctly festive atmosphere, encouraging costumes alongside running gear. The course winds through villages and vineyard paths in the Jura foothills, with vines lining much of the route. A unique aspect is found at the aid stations, where participants can stop at "degustation" signs to sample Swiss wines offered by local vintners, alongside water.
