Trail Nocturne Vallée de Joux

The Trail Nocturne Vallée de Joux is a 10 km night trail race held in Le Chenit, Canton de Vaud, Switzerland. The start area is located at the Centre Sportif de la Vallée de Joux in Le Sentier. This event takes place in early February, beginning at 7 PM. Runners will enter the Jura winter landscape, guided by headlamps instead of daylight. The race is open to participants aged 16 and older, appealing to adults and older teenagers seeking a short, challenging winter trail run rather than an extended mountain ultra. The course winds through forest trails, snowy terrain, and open clearings, featuring the characteristic rolling landscape of the Vallée de Joux. Covering 10 km, it includes a 364-meter elevation gain, providing a genuine trail-running challenge without an overwhelming distance.
