A pancake awaits at the finish of the 2 míle s úsměvem Praha - červenec, a short public road run in Prague’s Stromovka park. The adult race is 2 miles (3.2 km), and children up to 12 run 1 mile (1.6 km). The series is held regularly, usually on the first Saturday of the month, with the July edition using the same simple format. Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team organizes it; entry is a voluntary 50 CZK for adults, and children under 12 run free.
The start and finish area is by Bruselská brána at Výstaviště in Prague 7. Adults run two laps on asphalt paths through Královská obora - Stromovka, while children run one lap. Everyone receives a measured time, results are posted on the organizer’s website, and age-adjusted times count toward the year-long Lívancový pohár, or Pancake Cup, awarded the following January. Registration is available online or on site, and the start area has changing tents, portable toilets, and a small mobile cloakroom for valuables.
