4. Pekelný kilometr

Pekelný kilometr is a short uphill running series held at the Peklák ski area in Česká Třebová. The primary event is a one-kilometre ascent of the ski slope. Children’s races occur earlier in the evening, followed by the main kilometre race. Most participants begin individually at set intervals, creating a timed hill challenge rather than a mass start. The race surface varies depending on weather conditions, potentially including grass, snow, access roads, or a combination. Registration is available on-site for a modest fee. This event is included in the ISCAREX Cup and the Pekelný kilometr series. Younger children receive awards immediately, while older participants’ best three race times contribute to a final ceremony after the series concludes.
