5. Pekelný kilometr

Pekelný kilometr is an uphill running race straight up a ski slope, with runners setting off at intervals rather than all together. The main race is run after dark with a headlamp, while the youngest children start together. The footing changes with the weather: competitors may be running on grass, snow, paths, or road sections. It is part of the ISCAREX Cup and the Pekelný kilometr series, and this edition is the final night race in that series.
