The Krušné hory race, part of the 7 Pohoří Trail Run series, begins in Abertamy and leads runners into the Ore Mountains, crossing a former mining area recognized by UNESCO. This autumn trail race offers three distances: 23 km, 13 km, and the 8 km Kari Traa RUN, exclusively for women.
The course prioritizes trails, minimizing asphalt, with routes selected by mountain rescue service members. Participants will pass the former Eva mine, Jelení, Švýcarská chata on Plešivec, Merklín, the former settlement of Kaff, Pstruží, and a ski resort before the finish.
