About this race
Běhej Borky is a charity run taking place in Kolín’s Borky forest park each September. This year marks its ninth edition. The event provides 1 km, 5 km, and 10 km race options, allowing children, casual walkers, and regular runners to participate together, regardless of their pace or individual objectives.
The races commence near the U Medvědů area. Morning activities include registration and chip collection, preceding a group warm-up before the initial start. The charitable aspect is key: participants can make a voluntary donation during registration or purchase event socks or a shirt. All proceeds benefit the selected cause; the current edition supports Tomáš and his family. Previous editions have aided Rozárka and Pavlík. Local Kolín hockey players have frequently participated in large numbers to support the cause. Sport pro Kolín is the organizer, with the City of Kolín having organized earlier editions.
