About this race
Běh Boudeckou roklí is a 6.8 km Advent run in Vojtěchov, part of Mšeno in the Central Bohemian Region of Czechia. It is traditionally run on the second Sunday of Advent and is part of the Mšenské běhy group of local races. The race is also listed under the nickname “Pětka,” even though the route is closer to seven kilometres than five.
The start and finish are at the edge of the forest near a tourist shelter, and the course follows the green hiking trail through Boudecká rokle. Runners complete the route in loops over varied ground, with winter conditions often making the short distance tougher than it appears. TJ Sokol Mšeno organizes the race, which has been running since 2011, and the Advent mood continues after the finish with Christmas cookies for participants.
