Běh Labským údolím

Běh Labským údolím begins in Dolní Žleb on the Elbe's left bank, near the former HO Děčín cottage below the Water Sawmill ruins. This is a hilly cross-country race in the Ústí nad Labem Region, typically held around the first Saturday in November, with the first category starting at noon. The event features a longer route of approximately 16 km and a shorter route of about 8 km; the listed women’s distance is close to 7.5 km. ASK Děčín organizes the race, with Zdeněk Hrnčíř as the contact person. Most of the running takes place on forest paths within the Labské pískovce Protected Landscape Area, making it more suitable for runners with existing endurance than for those seeking a flat road race. From the start, the course enters the Hluboký důl valley, turns left onto a contour path after roughly 50 meters, and merges with the yellow tourist trail after about 2 km. The men’s course record is 56:45, set by Tomáš Jiráň, offering a clue to the pace of the leading runners on this terrain.
