Běh na Hvězdu

Běh na Hvězdu begins at Masarykovo náměstí in Police nad Metují, a town in the Náchod district of the Hradec Králové Region. It is an 8.9 km uphill cross-country race, also known as Desítka, and it is part of the Czech Cup in mountain running and the Krakonoš Cup. The race is organized by SKI Police nad Metují and has a long local history, spanning approximately forty years. The competition is divided into many categories, including younger pupils and juniors, open men’s and women’s races, and masters groups for older runners. The event caters to youth racers, club runners, and experienced hill specialists, not just one specific age group.
