Běh na Strandu is a short uphill running race in Brno-Slatina, South Moravia, Czechia. The race sends runners up Stránská skála, a national natural monument, on a 450-meter course with 47 meters of climbing. It is organized by Czech Wild Runners Team and keeps the format simple: one hill, one hard effort, no long approach.
Runners do not start together; each participant sets off alone at one-minute intervals, making the race feel like a hill time trial rather than a pack race. The route is brief but steep enough to hurt, with the full climb packed into less than half a kilometer. Categories run from youth through adults, making it a local race for both younger runners and grown-up hill specialists.
