Běh s holubicí

The Běh s holubicí race begins near the football field in Holubice, a village in the Vyškov district of South Moravia. It takes place on a Saturday in September. This event is a local cross/trail running day, not a single-distance road race. It includes children’s races starting at 100 meters, youth distances up to 1.8 km, a 3 km recreational run, and a 10 km main race. The first races start in the morning, and the main 10 km race begins at the distinct time of 11:11. The shorter route is designed for beginners and casual runners, while the 10 km offers a more challenging competition for experienced runners. A canicross category is also available, allowing participants to run with their dogs. TJ Holubice and the municipality of Holubice are the organizers. Online registration is open, and the entry fees are reasonable for a race. The event is intended for children, families, seniors, casual runners, and competitive racers, aligning with the nature of a relatively new village event with a few editions held so far.
