Běh Teplickými skalami 2026

Běh Teplickými skalami is a public trail race held in Teplice nad Metují, Czech Republic, on the last Sunday of August. It is part of the International Mountaineering Film Festival. The primary event is the Lasportiva Cross, a 9 km run through the Teplice rock formations. Shorter Bufo Cross races for children take place on circuits near the playground and city park. The event originated with the revived mountaineering film festival in August 1994 and is now also included in the regional Primátor Cup running series. The course begins and ends near the Redpoint store and the TJ Slavoj football field. Runners transition from road sections to rugged terrain among the rocks. Within the rock formations, the path includes stairs and sandy areas, with markers and flags directing participants through complex sections. The race is designed for both recreational runners and club athletes. The children’s races, introduced in 2011, add a family-friendly dimension to the festival, complementing the adult mountain run.
