Běžíme pro násteadní rodiny is a charity run in Litoměřice, in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic, raising money for the Center for Substitute Family Care. It is open to the public, with people coming to race, jog, relax, watch, and support families connected with foster care and adoption. The event offers short road-race distances such as 4 km, 5 km, 8 km, and 10 km, suitable for children, casual runners, and more competitive adults.
The run has been staged at local Litoměřice spots including Mostná hora and Střelecký ostrov. One edition drew more than 140 runners plus many spectators, and its proceeds reached 28,310 CZK, almost twice the first edition’s total. The money supports practical family work, including educational stays for adoptive families with children and home tutoring for children in substitute family care. The Center for Substitute Family Care organizes the run with Rozběháme Česko; a cement plant lent the inflatable start arch and supplied raffle prizes.
