Excalibur Race MOON Helfštýn

Excalibur Race MOON Helfštýn is the season-ending obstacle race weekend held at Hrad Helfštýn, a vast castle complex in Central Europe. The MOON races take place on Friday. The castle grounds are exclusively used for the event throughout the weekend, granting runners access to areas of Helfštýn typically off-limits to participants. The race routes incorporate the castle and its adjacent terrain, deviating from a typical road course. Participants will navigate rocky terrain, ascend through dense woodland, and pass through historical castle areas. The event culminates with the Excalibur Race League awards ceremony, where series champions are recognized. A Saturday night gathering within the castle, complete with food, obstacle challenges, a children's activity area, and a full day of family-oriented programming, is also featured.
