Hájenka RUN is an autumn charity race held in the forests between Poštorná, a district of Břeclav, and Valtice in South Moravia. It features 6 km and 11 km courses on a flat terrain, suitable for local runners aiming for a personal best and for those who simply wish to complete the distance to settle a friendly wager. The race is organized in cooperation with SPARTAN Training Group Břeclav, with the objective of encouraging more people in Břeclav to run.
The race's name is derived from the gamekeeper’s lodges, known locally as hájenky, situated along the woodland path. Proceeds from the entry fees are donated to a charitable cause, elevating the event beyond a simple timed run between adjacent towns. Each participant who finishes the race is awarded a wooden medal, a small touch that complements the woodland environment more fittingly than a conventional metal award.
