Hostivařská 15

Hostivařská 15 begins at the Hostivar 2 brewery complex in Prague-Hostivař. Participants select either a 5 km or 15 km trail race circling the Hostivař Reservoir area, held in September. This is a local Prague event, not a large city marathon, with close to 300 participants recently. Children’s races, ranging from 300 m to 1.5 km, are also part of the event. The 15 km route combines asphalt and forest trails, featuring flat sections and challenging ascents near the reservoir, the Hostivař golf course, and the Botič river's winding path. The finish line is back at the Hostivar 1 brewery complex, approximately 1.1 km from the start. All finishers receive a wooden beer medal. Awards are presented to the top three male and female runners in each age group. The quickest runner receives a selection of Hostivar beer products, and organizers also recognize a runner for "best guessing" their time.
