Jesenický surovec - kros

The Jesenický Surovec kros at autokemp Jesenice in Jesenice u Rakovníka directs runners onto forest roads adjacent to the campsite. This October cross-country race, held in the Rakovník district of Central Bohemia, features a 6 km course for women and a 12 km course for men, who complete the 6 km loop twice. Shorter "Pětka" and "Desítka" races are also scheduled, extending the weekend's running events beyond a single start. The kros is part of a larger Jesenický Surovec outdoor-sports weekend, which includes a 50 km ultratrail with approximately 1000 m of elevation gain and dogtrekking events of 25 km and 50 km along the Střela River. Local club runners have a vested interest in the results, as the race contributes to runner cups in the Kladno, Rakovník, and Plzeň regions. The competition is divided into age categories for both men and women, ranging from younger adult groups to veteran divisions, lending the event a feel of a local series rather than an isolated fun run.
