Jizbický kros is a cross-country race held at the sports complex in Jizbice, near Náchod in the Czech Republic. It takes place on a Sunday in October as part of the regional cross-country championship for the Královéhradecký region. The main race covers 6 km and includes chip timing, children’s categories, a public race, and a FIT route alongside the competitive events.
The course is a loop of approximately 1.1 km across gently rolling meadows surrounding the Jizbice sports area, featuring a natural surface. The youngest children participate in a short 150-meter “holding hands” race, making the event suitable for families and adult runners. BK Náchod and SK Jizbice organize the race with support from the town of Náchod. Finish-line refreshments for participants include homemade buns, cakes, and tea, with material prizes awarded to the fastest children and the overall male and female winners.
