Kácovský běh is a late-summer running event in Kácov, a village in the Posázaví area of Central Bohemia, Czechia. It is presented as a Posázaví half marathon, but runners can choose several distances: the main Devatenáctka is 18.8 km with 380 m of climbing, the Desítka is 10.4 km with 160 m of climbing, and the short Kolečko is 2.9 km with 20 m of climbing. Children’s races are also offered, covering both longer trail-style efforts and family-friendly starts.
The start office and changing rooms are in the Sokolovna in Kácov, the race starts on Náměstí kněžny Toskánské, and the finish is by the brewery in Podskalí. The routes use mixed surfaces, with aid stations on the longer courses and at the finish. TJ Sokol Kácov organizes the race, chip timing is used, and results are posted both at the finish and online. A local detail is that organizers publicly thank runners for leaving the course clean, even noting when they find no gel wrappers after cleanup; they also send a feedback survey after the race as part of the event routine.
