Panevropský půlmaraton

The Panevropský půlmaraton is a cross-border road half marathon starting in Stadlern, Germany, and finishing in Poběžovice, Czech Republic. The race covers the standard 21.097 km distance within the Plzeň Region, with joint organization by DSO Mikroregion Dobrohost and LAG Brückenland Bayern-Böhmen. The route crosses the Bavarian-Bohemian borderlands, utilizing the Schwarzach-Švarcava border crossing, making it a literal run from Bavaria into Bohemia. It also passes through the former Iron Curtain region, over a low saddle in the Český les mountains, and near the Radbuza river's source before concluding in Poběžovice.
