The Nové Veselí Half Marathon is a road race held in June, starting at the Sokolovna in Nové Veselí, a village in the Vysočina region of Czechia. The primary race covers 21.1 km. The event also provides shorter race options for local participants and younger runners, including youth and children's races, and a 7 km run for adults not participating in the half marathon.
The course consists of asphalt roads and paths laid out in a 7 km out-and-back loop connecting Nové Veselí and Újezd. Consequently, the half marathon is completed by running multiple laps of this loop, rather than a single point-to-point course. The event is organized by AO TJ Sokol Nové Veselí, a local Sokol sports club with various athletic and recreational sections. The atmosphere is intimate and community-focused, with a recent half marathon attracting 42 finishers, and the combined shorter adult and youth races drawing 48 participants.
