Sokolský běh republiky - Uherský Brod

The Sokolský běh republiky in Uherský Brod starts at the Sokol stadium. The main event is a 5 km race for adults, with shorter races for children held at the same location. While chip timing is not used, runners receive an official time, and winners are announced. Each participant receives a starting package containing a race number and small gifts. Finishers are awarded a medal shaped like the Czech Republic. The 5 km route departs the stadium, travels through Uherský Brod's center, proceeds through housing estates, reaches the allotment gardens, circles a pond, and returns via housing and villa streets to the Sokol stadium. Children's races include an 800 m run into the nearby park, a 340 m race consisting of two laps around the stadium, or a 170 m race with one lap around the stadium. Runners under 18 require parental consent for the 5 km race. On-site registration is offered. The Sokolovna facility provides toilets, showers, changing rooms, refreshments near the start, and complimentary parking nearby.
